We invite all people to reserve our facilities for their community events, music recitals and concerts and we also have a form if you would like to publish an announcement for our congregation to be informed about. You can find these forms at the bottom of this page. Click here.

Art Auction Comes to St. George’s UMC for the Second Year!

On Saturday, April 14, St. George’s was turned into an art gallery where those who attended could see and bid on all styles and prices of original art. The fund-raising event, chaired by Cheryl Eyre, presented the art collection by

a professional art auctioneer, Richard "Rick" Brandwein. “This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in adding original, framed art to their homes at very affordable prices,” said Eyre. Categories of art included contemporary, landscape, primitive, western, impressionism, Christian and more.

There was an added twist to the auction this year. Stacey Piper arranged for original collaborative art from children in our local Girl Scout Troops to be included. “This is a terrific way to get young girls involved in community service and it will be fun to see our children’s art displayed for sale along with professional artists."  Not only did the Girl Scouts contribute artwork, but they also baked and decorated the little cupcakes (which were works of art themselves) for auction attendees to enjoy as they bid on their favorite paintings.

Congratulations! St. George's has been host to hundreds of weddings over the past 50 years. We would be happy to welcome your special day at our church home, but request some information first.

Please fill out the Wedding Request Form here, and submit it to our office's email address. We will be in touch with you soon!

You may know about an event that our church would really like to know about and be invited to! Also, use this form to remind us to publicize a St. George's event, so we can be sure to invite our congregation and their friends, when applicable. Please submit this form at least five (5) working days prior to the event, and include the General Activity Request, Recital Request, or other approved form, when applicable. If the event is canceled, please let us know as soon as possible.

St. George's wants to support our George Mason University and Fairfax communities and invite them to hold their events at our facilities when appropriate.

Because of the unique construction and acoustics of our sanctuary, St. George's United Methodist Church is a great location for recitals and concerts. This 4-page form includes reservations at our facilities for both rehearsals as well as for the recital or concert event following. It also includes all of the specifications for use of our building, such as "smoking not permitted" and the deadline for submitting the form before your music event.

This form is for our Younger Youth activities (YYCF) grades 4 – 6
